Audio-Technica won over crowds at this year’s NAMM 2014 show with its new line of customer-redesigned M-Series headphones—or as A/T calls it, the M-Series Remastered.
What began as a redesign of the acclaimed ATH-M50 headphones turned into a completely new line of four different headphone styles created to meet the needs of musicians, recording engineers, DJs, and entertainers at every level. The ATH-M50x are the new flagship in Audio-Technica's headphone lineup.
The ATH-M50x is a new spin on the renowned Audio-Technica ATH-M50 studio headphones. These have the exact same sought-after sonic signature as the original M50s, but with a host of user-requested improvements: a more comfortable headband, refined ear pads, better noise isolation, plus 3 styles of detachable cables for studio or remote work.
And of course, Audio-Technica ATH-M50x headphones are a delight for casual music listening in your home or at the office when they’re not being used as part of your PPE (personal pro-audio equipment). The ATH-M50x have a tight, extended low-frequency response, incredible clarity in the all-to-important midrange, and a nice open high-end.
